Frequently Asked Questions
General
Do you sell gift cards? [Placeholder — yes/no, and how to purchase.]
Is the shop pet- and kid-friendly? [Placeholder — fill in based on your actual policy/space.]
Where are you located, and is there parking? We’re in Birch Run, MI, just minutes from the outlet mall, with free parking out front. [Add full address once ready to publish.]
How can I stay updated on hours, new stock, and events? Instagram [@idplantthat_ handle] is the best and fastest way — it’s where hours, new arrivals, and event announcements get posted first.
Visiting the Shop
Do you have set hours? Since I’d Plant That is a smaller, hands-on operation, hours can vary week to week, especially around workshops and private events. The most up-to-date hours are always posted on Facebook, it’s the fastest way to know when the doors are open before you make the trip.
Can I just walk in, or do I need an appointment? Walk-ins are always welcome during posted open hours. If you’re coming with a larger group, planning to spend a good chunk of time at the bar, or want to make sure there’s room, it’s worth sending a quick message or calling ahead of time.
What if I show up and you’re closed? It happens occasionally with variable hours. We’re sorry in advance if the timing doesn’t line up! Following along on Instagram is the best way to avoid a wasted trip, since hours and any last-minute changes get posted there first.
Do you take custom or special orders? Yes, reach out directly and we’ll do our best to source or set aside something specific for you.
Private Events
Can I book the shop for a private event? Yes — I’d Plant That is available for private gatherings: birthdays, showers, girls’ nights, team events, and more.
How many people can you host? [Placeholder — fill in your actual space capacity.]
How far in advance should I book? [Placeholder — e.g. at least 2 weeks out, more for weekends/holidays.]
What does a private event include? [Placeholder — e.g. guided potting experience for the group, choice of plants/pots, refreshments if offered.]
How do I request a private event? [Placeholder — link to a contact form, or “message us directly to check availability.”]
The Plant Bar
What is the “plant bar” exactly? Think of it like a build-your-own experience. You pick your plant, pick your pot, and we walk you through potting it up yourself. No plant knowledge required.
Do I have to book ahead for the plant bar, or can I just come during open hours? Just come in during posted open hours. No booking needed for regular visits. Booking ahead is really only necessary for workshops and private events.
What’s on the bar this week? It rotates regularly. Check Facebook for what’s currently available.
